The wool comes from the Sheep of Australia who are regarded as having the finest and highest quality wool of any sheep in the world. The Herington Comforter is constructed with a damask stripe 100-percent Japara Cotton shell. The benefit of using japara cotton is that it creates a shell that is extremely soft and durable, making it the perfect companion for the high quality Australian Wool fill. Filled with an incredible 500 GSM (15-ounce/yard) of 100-percent hand picked, specially enhanced Australian wool creates amazing loft and enhanced insulation properties, resulting in the optimum sleeping environment. Quilting was added to keep the fill from shifting or bunching and a corded hem gives it a beautiful and functional finish. The Herington Wool Comforter has an amazing warmth-to-weight ratio making it a perfect temperature regulating comforter that will keep you warmer in the winter months due to the super-fine wool fibers that naturally absorb and wick moisture (sweat) away from the skin keeping you drier and more comfortable.
